Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the global purchasing budget, including annual planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage end-to-end savings reporting processes and ensure transparency of cost reduction initiatives across the organization.
  • Monitor purchasing performance against budget targets and provide regular management reporting.
  • Create and maintain KPI frameworks and performance dashboards for the Purchasing organization.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses and executive-level reports to Purchasing leadership and senior management.
  • Own the governance, quality, integrity, and consistency of purchasing-related data.
  • Design and optimize purchasing information flows, reporting structures, and business processes.
  • Lead digital transformation and process improvement initiatives within the Purchasing function.
  • Gather business requirements and independently design and develop internal applications supporting purchasing operations.
  • Design and implement reporting and analytical solutions using Power BI and advanced data analytics tools.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python to improve reporting efficiency, process reliability, and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance departments to align reporting methodologies and business objectives.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations supporting strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain pricing databases and ensure visibility of component cost structures across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, transparency, and data-driven procurement management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in Purchasing Analytics, Procurement Controlling, Business Analysis, or related functions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Strong experience with Power BI development, dashboard creation, and KPI reporting.
    Practical experience in Python programming, particularly for data analysis, reporting automation, and process optimization.
  • Experience in designing and developing business applications and workflow automation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, savings management, and purchasing performance measurement.
  • Experience with process mapping and procurement process architecture.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear management information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management processes.
  • Experience with data governance and master data management.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM and procurement-related ERP processes.
